Leave No Trace
There are different levels of training available for those interested in Leave No Trace. The first is to attend an awareness workshop. These could be as short as a 15 minute session or a few hours complete with activities you can bring back to your unit.
The Leave No Trace Trainer Course is a 16 hour course that looks into all the principles of Leave No Trace as well as instruction on how best to present the information. There is a Troop Leadership Position as the Leave No Trace Trainer. To be considered trained for this position they must take the Leave No Trace Trainer Course.
For those really excited about Leave No Trace you should consider taking a Master Educator Course. The Master Educator course is a week long in depth look at all aspects of Leave No Trace. Master Educators are tasked with training LNT Trainers.
