Growing Leaders Campaign

The Narragansett Council, Scouting America, in Southeastern New England's premier youth leadership development organization!

Scouting teaches young people values that they can live by based on the Scout Oath and Law, and our annual fundraising campaign emphasizes the importance that developing the leaders of tomorrow has on the world that we live in today.

How can you help?

1. Make a Gift

• $96 supports 1 Scout for 4 months
• $190 supports 1 Scout for 8 months
• $288 supports 1 Scout for 1 year
• $576 supports 2 Scouts for 1 year
• $2,016 supports a full patrol or den of 7 Scouts for 1 year.  A gift of $2016 or more also makes you a member of the Narragansett Eagle Club! 

2. Double your impact with a company match.

Many companies will match your giving, and some even provide the opportunity to log your volunteer hours and make a donation based on their employees' volunteer activities. Find out if your company does! 

3. Become an Anchor Donor by making a monthly recurring donation using a credit card.

Anchor donors provide a steady stream of funding that helps us provide the best Scouting programs year-round.

All Anchor Donors are invited to attend a special reception. 

4. Serve as a Scouting Champion.

Scouting Champions help raise funds for Scouting by asking their network of personal, professional, and other contacts to support Scouting.

How can you run a Champions Campaign?

• Set up a Peer2Peer page and use social media to ask your network to support Scouting.
• Host a small gathering at your place of business or home. We can provide you with invitations, pledge cards, and other materials. Contact Adam Zerman for more information.
• Serve as a Champion at a Council fundraising event. Contact Adam Zerman for more details.

5. Join the Narragansett Eagle Club

All Eagle Club members with a gift of $1932 or more are recognized annually at a reception and receive a limited-edition Eagle Club Challenge Coin. 

6. Sponsor a Merit Badge

If you own a business, manage a business, or know someone who does, Merit Badge Sponsorships provide recognition to the company while supporting the Scouting program locally.

Merit Badge Sponsorships range from $1,000, $2,500 or $5,000 with different levels of recognition at each level.

7. Sponsor a Scouting Event, Program, or Activity

Businesses help nurture the next generation of leaders, fostering skills such as teamwork, leadership, and responsibility in young people. All sponsors will be recognized at the event they sponsor.
