Pinewood Derby Race of The Champions

WHO - This event is for any Cub Scout who places in the top 5 with their Pack race. Packs can find details about tips about running races within COVID-19 guidelines at www.ncbsa.org/pwd 

WHAT - The Pinewood Derby is the premiere Cub Scout event! Scouts get to work with parents and leaders to design, create, and race unpowered wooden cars against fellow Cub Scouts. All council races will occur on one day! The day will begin with semi-final races and the winners will compete in the final Championship Race! Registrants will be notified prior to the events with details about car drop-off times and locations. Cars will be handled and raced by the Narragansett Council Pit Crew team. Any necessary changes including removing weight will be completed by the Council Pit Crew as necessary. Click here for a full list of 2021 Pinewood Derby Rules. WHY - Test your car against cubs in the Council and race for an opportunity to be the 2021 Narragansett Council Pinewood Derby Champion!

WHERE - This is a virtual event. The races will broadcast  on Facebook from the Narragansett Council Facebook page. Details to follow in March and April.
