Our 1910 District is the largest component of our Scoutreach program. It is supported by full-time and part-time staff that coordinates leadership and service to units through financial subsidies and/or paid program leaders. The name “1910” refers to the year that the Scouting movement in the United States was founded by William D. Boyce who was deeply concerned for the successful development of our nation’s youth - just like our Scoutreach Program!
The 1910 District provides program in: Providence, Pawtucket, Central Falls, Cranston, Taunton, New Bedford, Fall River, Assonet, and Woonsocket
